Keep Calm and Carry On During Busy School Days

The following is a Guest Post sponsored by Sierra of Paige One:

Now that school has started there’s no doubt that you are super busy and are trying to keep it all together. Not only are you trying to balance work, school, and relationships with friends and family, but you are trying to figure out a schedule that works best for you. Staying organized is important during the school year, but it’s easier said then done. That’s why implementing simple strategies will help improve your school year and make you enjoy it as opposed to feeling frazzled.

Select – It may sound easy, but organizing your closet and knowing where things are located within your wardrobe will help you cut back on time when you are late to class. You’ll know exactly where to find a pair of jeans and tee shirt when you need to be in class in less than ten minutes as opposed to taking far too long searching for your clothing.

Limit – Part of getting the work done that you need to accomplish on a nightly basis is learning how to limit your time on your cell phone, computer, and watching television. Turning off your electronic devices will allow you more free time to read and enjoy recreational activities with friends and family members when time allows.

Practice – While you’re in school don’t expect everything to be perfect. This is a time to discover about what you’d like to learn about and perfect your reading and writing skills. Of course it’s important to understand and correct your own reading and writing, but getting assistance from a professional editing service will improve your writing and encourage you to become a better writer and reader too.

Checklist – If you like to make checklists to keep yourself organized, make one everyday before you go to school. The checklist will remind you of what needs to be done and every time you finish a task you can check it off. Don’t feel disappointed in yourself if you don’t accomplish everything that you hoped to accomplish by the end of the day. Tomorrow’s always a new day and there’s always enough time to stay calm and carry on during busy school days.
